A Caviston Seafood Restaurant & Cafe specialises in Fresh Irish Seafood in a relaxed informal setting. Since opening in 2008, A Caviston has been gaining a national profile and was recently ranked as one of the top 5 seafood restaurants in the country by Ireland.com. The menu changes daily depending on catch of the day but, typical dishes include a Bowl of Baltimore Rope Mussels with Garlic & White Wine, Greystones Crab Claws with a Caper & Herb Butter, Clogherhead John Dory with a Lemongrass Cream or a bowl of their Seafood Chowder. In addition to the Seafood Restaurant and Café, A Caviston also consists of a delicatessen, a cheese shop and a traditional fishmongers. The business places a large emphasis on Irish food.
